Hybrid Sandbag (SuperAdobe) / Papercrete Test Structure at the KCSLC
This is a sandbag structure insulated with a 6 inch outer layer of papercrete. The window "eyebrow" awnings are sculpted of papercrete. When the structure is completed the windows will function as mini Trombe wall solar heating collectors. Evaluation of thermal performance is now underway.
