Scheduled Tours

We do monthly tours on the second Saturday of the month at 11:00 AM

Group Tours, Seminars and Private Tutorials.

Option to have a general tour of the Sustainable Home, or focus on a particular interest. 1 to 6 persons, up to 2-hour sessions; $5 per person. School field trips can be negotiated.

Guest Accommodations

Guests provide their own food, vehicle, tent, sleeping bag, personal equipment, etc. If it is unoccupied, visitors may use an equipped and partially functional Airstream travel trailer (single bunk plus camp mat space, bedding, equipped kitchen, water tank, electricity, countertop stove, ice box, bucket bathing and humanure sanitation). A small camper shell, an empty insulated sandbag dome, and a heated and insulated unused office could be pressed into service for longer term occupancy if the stored contents were temporarily relocated.. If preferred, a motel is three miles away. The availability of these options cannot be guaranteed.

Transportation. Enterprise car rental in Show Low 20 miles distant will pick up and deliver at the Center. Mountain Valley Shuttle is available to/from Phoenix. By prior arrangement, we might be able to pick up and return visitors to the Show Low shuttle terminal.

Buildings are smoke free. Pets by prior arrangement only. Alcohol in moderation. Drug use is prohibited.
