I have just volunteered to help form a Europe and North America Net for Solar Cookers World Net (SCWNet—formerly Solar Cookers International Association/SCIA), because they ran out of volunteers before they filled steering committees for all the regions. If you would like to be on an email list for a E & NA net for occasional information about programs, activities, and focuses for this region, please email me or post to this thread to let me know. If you would go so far as to want to be part of a steering committee, let me know.

At this point in time, the two areas of primary focus for this net are increased visibility of solar cooking and youth outreach (because some those same youth will be doing things like joining the Peace Corps and other service groups in a few years, and just think how much better off our movement would be if they already knew how to rig and use solar cookers!).
